Windaway® Charcoal

Flatulence is a result of gas in the bowel, and it can happen to anyone of us at the worst of times. It is often uncomfortable and embarrassing. WindAway® contains steam activated charcoal made from coconut shells that have been ground into a fine powder. Each serving of three capsules provides 1000mg (1g) of Activated Charcoal, the amount required to reduce excessive flatulence after eating, when taken at least 30 minutes
before and shortly after a meal.

Coconut shells from Sri Lanka have been used to make the activated charcoal found in Lifeplan WindAway®. These coconut shells have been steam activated and ground into a fine powder. Activated charcoal has a large surface area, making it easier to absorb ingested toxins within the gastrointestinal tract.  Excess gas in the digestive system has a high affinity to the activated charcoal and binds to it. It is then naturally excreted from the body. This reduces the amount of free gas in the digestive
system and ultimately the amount of flatulence.
